11 loading steps
- Step 1 – MEASUREMENT
After the correct connection, the LCD display provides an initial statement about the state of charge and the condition of the battery. - Step 2 – INITIALIZATION AND SULFATION BREAK
Checks the condition of the battery to determine the charging process. - Step 3 – SOFT-START
Starts the charging process with ½ value at a preselected 4A current.
In this way, the battery is slowly preheated to enable it to be fully charged. - Steps 4-7 – CONSTANT CURRENT CHARGING
Delivers 85% of battery capacity by charging at 4 different current levels that fully charge the battery. - Step 8 – CONSTANT VOLTAGE CHARGE
Brings the charge level to 95% at maximum charge voltage by gradually reducing the current, which limits battery gassing and thus extends battery life. - Step 9 – FLOAT CHARGE
Stops charging and brings the battery to maximum capacity at trickle charge voltage. - Step 10 – ANALYSIS/REGENERATION
The charging current is switched off and it is checked whether the battery can hold the voltage. If the voltage drop is too great, the regeneration mode is started to restore lost capacity. - Step 11 – MAINTENANCE
Monitors battery health. If the battery voltage falls below a certain value, the last charging program selected will be restarted. This maintains the state of charge of the battery in the most gentle way and without overcharging.
